Full Job Description
Sawscope Pty Ltd is a Tasmanian owned and operated civil construction business with over 25 years’ experience in the industry.

Due to growth and a solid ongoing program of works in hand, an opportunity has arisen for an apprentice Civil Construction operator to join their growing team.

Join this entry level position where you will develop skills & knowledge to further your career and receive hands on training in Civil Construction. By undertaking a Certificate III in Civil Construction you'll be joining a growing industry and develop in-demand skills that will set you up long-term.

About the Role:
Full-time position working towards a Certificate III in Civil Construction
Assist with infrastructure projects within the Greater Southern Tasmanian region
Operate hand tools, power tools and machinery such as rollers and purpose built loaders
Maintain and repair existing infrastructure in the local area
Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by complying with Workplace Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures

About you:
Have a genuine interest in Civil Construction.
Be committed to undertaking a full-time apprenticeship.
Have a current manual driver's licence.
Must be willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing as required.
Be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
Be physically fit.
Obtain a white card.
Experience on roller and or skid steer an advantage

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
