JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB BRIEF: Part-time Handyman

We’re looking for a reliable Handyman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks for the interior or exterior of various company premises. We’ll rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs around the group.

Deft hands and technical knowledge are an important part of a handyman’s arsenal. You must be well-organised with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this role.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform maintenance and repairs across the group

Paint and fill gaps or crevices where needed

Undertake light installations or carpentry works

Undertake duties as assigned or emergency repair tasks when needed

Identify and report the need for minor or major repairs within the group

OUR REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a handyman

Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment

Basic understanding of trade skills

Great communication skills

Well-organised and able to problem solve

High attention to detail

Ability to complete maintenance and repair works within a timely manner

Must have own transport and be able to travel between our various venues in Sydney’s Inner-West region.
