Sales / SBU ASP / Service, ASP / Service Operations / Operations Engineering / Turbines / Technical Field Support

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Engineer who will join our Service operations team as a technical support expert. You will support the Service and Construction teams on turbine support based in our Melbourne office.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Turbine support to Wind farm Service teams.
  • Provide support to Construction in installation, commissioning and start-up of wind turbines and service operation on resolution of turbine alarms / alerts.
  • Liaise with clients to facilitate resolution of technical issues to ensure increased customer satisfaction and support long-term business growth.
  • Liaise with other technical staff throughout the company (worldwide) as part of solving technical issues.
  • Investigate poor performing wind turbines/wind farms and provide solutions.
  • Anchor Reliability calls within Vestas and also with the external customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Competencies
  • Effective diagnostic and troubleshooting technical skills with emphasis on root cause analysis
  • Able to multitask and prioritize daily work under a growing environment
  • Ability to priorities tasks in accordance with business goals
  • Ability to develop networks internationally to develop own knowledge base and solve technical issues.
  • Having an overview on the overall business requirement and volunteer to support business values
