JOB DESCRIPTION

The vibrant Town of Victoria Park is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team in a full-time capacity.

Reporting directly to the Principal Building Surveyor, the position is responsible for the day to day operational functions and responsibilities that Building Services are required by legislation and the Town to deliver.

Our ideal candidate will have

  • Building Surveyor Level 1 or Level 2 (Level 1 preferable)
  • You must be a current registered Building Surveyor in Western Australia with DMIRS or equivalent Mutual Recognition
  • Competency with assessment of all types of buildings
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills regarding building compliance/complaints
  • Experience in pool/spa inspections
  • Local Government experience desirable
  • Membership with the AIBS is desirable
