The opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a Principal Civil Technician (Drafter) within our Transport business in Melbourne. It is a great opportunity for a high performer to step into project leadership roles within the drafting teams on Major Transport Projects in Victoria.

You will have

  • Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Drafting, or similar Technical qualification
  • Demonstrated high level of competence in the application of Microstation for civil, roads, or rail drafting and documentation
  • Experience in the setup and customisation of Microstation environments
  • Experience as a Lead Civil Drafter / Lead Drafter on major transport infrastructure projects, preferably within Victoria
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to complement and lead high performing project teams
  • Highly motivated and engaged to work within high-paced project delivery environments
  • Knowledge and experience working with Victorian Department of Transport (formerly VicRoads/PTV) documentation standards
  • Experience in working in an ISO19650 compliant ProjectWise Environment
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken
