About the role
Reporting to the National Electrical Automation Engineer, you will provide maintenance engineering support and carry out project implementation/commissioning for Client operations predominantly across Queensland, but also in New South Wales and Tasmania.

  • Provide safe delivery of maintenance services to the East Coast Terminals by delivering strong HSSE leadership and implementing the HSSE management plan.
  • Contribute to routine maintenance program, including routine inspections, preventative, predicative and corrective maintenance.
  • Assist management of the maintenance program at regional sites through coordination with National Electrical and Automation Engineer, Terminal Managers, Site Maintenance Supervisors and UGL and Subcontractor teams. 
  • Provide sites with engineering troubleshooting support directly or by coordinating the input of engineering specialists


About You

  • Relevant Tertiary Engineering qualification.
  • Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area competencies AS/NZS 60079 series
  • 8+ years’ industry experience in engineering, maintenance and/or project implementation and commissioning within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Chemical industries.
  • Knowledge and exposure to PLC, SCADA, tank inventory and network systems. In particular, experience with RSLogix, GX Developer, Citect, Entis XL as well as experience with interfacing to instrument and control systems using a variety of communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP and ControlNet.
  • Show initiative, proactive and good communicator.
