This is an exciting opportunity to be part the TAFE NSW Product Development & Implementation team.

The Digital Builder is responsible for configuring/building the products developed by Digital Design teams, as well as testing and implementing digital learning systems and programs that will optimise TAFE Digital online products and services. These are newly created temporary roles available for full-time or part-time hours until 30 June 2022 with the potential to extend, as well as further opportunities likely in the future. These roles can be based anywhere in NSW with options to work virtually and have flexible start dates. The maximum package is $91,234.77 including salary ($77,896-$81,839), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

As Digital Builder, you will be part of a centralised team of 250 in Product Planning, Product Design, and Development & Implementation, which is responsible for training and assessment strategies, assessments and learning resources. TAFE NSW has 600 qualifications on scope, each of which may contain up to 60 units, delivered face-to-face, online, or in blended/connected learning.

You’ll love this role if you have….

  • experience using the Moodle Learning Management System
  • sound experience with front-end technologies including CSS and HTML
  • strong project management skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines

Reporting to the Lead Digital Implementation, this position will:

  • design, build, configure and optimise TAFE Digital online products utilising the Moodle Learning Management System
  • work closely with the Learning Design Team to build content and input into the learning platform
  • work on the systems administration and security services for a range of cloud-based systems and applications
  • assist the Digital Implementation Lead to conduct user analytics, performance monitoring and functional diagnosis of applications

If you have….

  1. Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  2. Ability to address and meet four focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.
