POSITION SUMMARY

As Clear Cut expands, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Work Health and Safety Officer to join our team. Working in collaboration with our Client project management teams, the Work Health and Safety Officer’s role is to guide our clients into a safer and more compliant future, through the implementation of safe work processes and people management using a risk based approach. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Have demonstrated knowledge of Safety, Environmental processes and legislation
  • Conduct environmental and safety inspections across multiple construction sites of varying sizes
  • Create, evaluate, and implement health and safety strategies
  • Assist client implementation of safety management systems
  • Review and approve client SWMS
  • Possess complex document writing skills
  • Ensure compliance of onsite documentation
  • Provide high quality of face-to-face customer service

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a Certificate IV Work Health and Safety
  • Strongly desired, WHS onsite work knowledge and understanding
  • Have a current Driver’s License and means of transport necessary
