Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the team leaders in their C&W / Company QA & Safety implementation requirements
  • Safety First expectations include, but are not limited to, risk assessment, observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures
  • Performs safety/quality surveillance through observations, inspections and audits
  • Communicates with workers and observe their work, as well as inspect the elements of their work environment, such as lighting, tools, and equipment
  • If an accident occurs, investigates unsafe working conditions/ actions, study possible causes, and make recommendations
  • Analyses data and prepares reports for Health and Safety Metrics to include: Site Scorecard, Observations & Behaviours, uses the data to provide Leading & Lagging Indicators Reports
  • Document safety and quality inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures, poor work and recommending corrective actions
  • Manages the quality non-conformance process
  • Facilitates site specific based training through inductions, pre-starts, toolbox talks etc.
  • Generate daily and weekly system safety/quality reports


To be successful in this role you will need good QA&S experience with exceptional communication skills and collaborative relationship building skills, allowing you to understand requirements and ensure a safe environment for all persons.

You will have:

  • Significant experience in all aspects of QA&S
  • Experience in a high volume warehouse/production/logistics and extensive knowledge of all warehouse functions
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading an effective safety team
  • 3+ years of experience in an safety/quality assurance role
  • Recognised WHS / QA qualifications
  • Evidence identifying and developing successful continuous safety strategies
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to coach and develop people
  • Auditing qualification advantageous
