Our company director has over 20 years of personal experience within the industry, being a third generation Roof Plumber. His knowledge, advice, and attention to detail is respected throughout the industry.

About The Role

We are seeking a Roof Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. Ideally, we are seeking someone who has a strong interest in the industry and does not have an issue working at heights. This is a great opportunity for someone either looking to get a start in the industry or wanting to re-commence their apprenticeship.

Duties Will Include But Not Limited To

  • Assisting tradesmen with duties on the roof
  • Carrying sheets, installing screws and
  • Assisting in the maintaining of clean and safe worksite
  • Fabricating and installing guttering and downpipes on residential building roofs in accordance with blueprints and specifications (further into apprenticeship)
  • Designing and installing roof drainage systems for specified roof types (further into apprenticeship)
  • Selecting the appropriate stormwater disposal systems for use on residential buildings and installing them (further into apprenticeship)
This is a full-time apprenticeship, working five days a week for generally a 40-hour work week, however some overtime may be required to meet construction deadlines. You will be working at various heights, sometimes from ladders and scaffolds, and throughout the elements of summer and winter. You will also be at times required to lift heavy materials.

Our projects have us working in the Ellenbrook, Bullsbrook and Middle Swan area and the role would ideally suit someone who is living in proximity to these areas.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Have a genuine interest in the industry with a strong willingness to learn
  • Be physically fit due to the amount of manual handling involved in the role and be comfortable working at heights
  • Be punctual, reliable, and hard working
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Possess experience in the building and construction industry (desirable)
  • Hold a current WA Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Possess a White Card
