WOW Recruitment are looking for a Level 2 Service Desk Engineer who is strong in Systems Administration to join a rapidly expanding MSP, based in Sydney CBD. Immediate start available.

Our client provides a number of solutions within IT services, ranging from managed services to cloud computing, connectivity and IT procurement with incredible service and care.

You will be responsible for:

As the Level 2, you will be a strong all-rounder with skew towards Systems Administration and a great foundation in Networking and Virtualisation. You will join a highly technical team and bring with you a proven technical background in Microsoft products to be able to help with BAU support and assist with projects from time to time. 

  • Level 2/3 duties, and escalation point from the Level 1 Delivery Department support technician(s) if required
  • Administer and troubleshoot windows servers, 0365, Azure, teams, migrations and end user applications
  • Support and provide proactive maintenance for PC’s, Mac, Servers, Infrastructure, Cloud environments, Office 365, mobile devices, network devices, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Telephony and any other technologies within the scope of our client services.
  • Assist with computer system builds, repairs, upgrades, software installations, trouble shooting
  • Assistance when required with the setup, management and monitoring of our customer Proactive Maintenance program, and after-hours maintenance tasks on client servers
  • Conduct network health and server audits
  • Assist where required in training staff and customers in the use of IT hardware and software distributed by the company.


You will bring:

  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in a similar role (preferably MSP experience)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple conflicting tasks in fast paced environment
  • Great communication both written and verbal
  • Desired Certifications – MCSE, VMware, VCP and Cisco CCNA
  • Solid Windows Server and Exchange Experience, able to install and troubleshoot Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL Server and Remote Desktop Session Hosts
  • Experience in migrating Exchange, Gmail, and others to MS O365
