Key qualifications:

  • Proficient in networking technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, SIP, routing)
  • Knowledge of WiFi networks and RF systems
  • Experienced with network test tools like Wireshark, iPerf3, and WiFi analyzers
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, shell scripts, and Python programming
  • Expertise with video surveillance, VoIP systems, access control, IoT (optional)
  • Exposure to CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, and JIRA (optional)
  • Familiar with test automation tools, like Selenium or Eggplant (optional)
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
  • Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
  • You are upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Verify system-level operation, features, performance, and UX of UniFi applications, like Network, Protect, Talk, Access, and other upcoming platforms
  • Build the new lab, setups, and everything from the ground up
  • Plan and run automated, semi-automated, and manual test cases
  • Report system-level findings with clear visualizations and accurate details
  • Collaborate with development teams to address the findings
Education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Networks, Wireless Networks, Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
  • 1-2 years of work experience, or an upcoming/recent graduate
  • A new systems and applications focused team, parallel to development teams
