Salesforce - Technical Architect

Slalom - Melbourne, VIC

Source: uWorkin

Slalom is new to the Australian market but by no means late to the party. Founded in 2001, we had a simple goal - build a company where people love their work, and love their life. We are a purpose-driven consulting firm that helps companies build for the future with solutions spanning business advisory and customer experience, technology and analytics.

Salesforce is one of our strongest capabilities globally and we're looking to add to our expertise with a local Salesforce practice. As a Platinum Salesforce partner and the 3rd largest globally, we're committed to growing our Salesforce talent and exposing our people to meaningful work that aligns to their personal and professional goals.

Role: Technical Architect

Some Of The Things Technical Architects Do Are

Technical Architects at Salesforce are our SME's who know the Salesforce platform deeply, can design the most complex of solutions and dig into the deepest of issues to find the root cause.

  • Work closely with our clients and Solution Architects to design solutions on Salesforce
  • Lead technical design sessions, build the architecture and identity gaps between current and future state environments
  • Define coding standards and design patterns for the team, lead code reviews during projects
  • Be on the tools and code, not just as an escalation point
What will you bring?
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite
  • Strong knowledge and experience developing on the Salesforce platform using things like VisualForce, Apex and Triggers
  • Demonstrated experience defining system architecture in large environments
  • Experience leading technical teams, bringing everyone together on a solution
  • Solid understanding of environment management, release management, coding version best practices and deployment methodologies
Our Values

In his first week at Slalom, a founding member jotted down a list of believes that were most important to him. There must be something said for the fact that these beliefs still make up Slalom's core values.

Do what is right, always; Focus on outcomes; Fuel growth and innovation; Take ownership; Get it done; Build and shape a better future; Inspire passion and adventure; Celebrate authenticity; Drive connection and teamwork; Stay humble and curious; Smile.

What keeps us here?

It's tricky to describe our culture as it's something we want you to help shape. Our vision is to enable a world in which everyone loves their work and life. We believe in having a diverse and inclusive community of Slalomers, encouraging everyone to bring their authentic selves to work. We make a big effort to bring everyone together and get to know each other casually through things like trivia nights, "Throwback Tuesday's" and weekly connects, where team members will share stories about their life.
