This role is a great opportunity to lead change and help evolve our strategic personal banking processes to support more product features. This is an exciting opportunity for a Java and Integration Engineer to join an Agile workplace where an evolving DevOps culture is promoted to give teams the ownership of their solutions/ applications.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • delivery and support of in-house developed and vendor application solutions
  • taking ownership of change through the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation
  • hands on application development, testing, and implementation of agreed designs
  • working with a broad range of technical and business users to provide the optimal solution

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Core and Enterprise Java solution design and application development
  • experience with Oracle database
  • good understanding of webservices & microservices architecture
  • experience with CI / CD tools
  • experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, JIRA, GIT, Confluence)
  • experience with integration technology such as JMS, RedHat Fuse, Camel
  • experience using and developing SOAP/Rest APIs with XML & JSON
  • windows or UNIX scripting
  • strong team focus with willingness to T-shape to help the team achieve goals
  • analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • experience delivering projects in an Agile environment

Optional but highly desirable skills:

  • knowledge of Master Data Management & CRM systems is highly desirable
  • experience with webMethods integration technology
  • exposure/ experience with AWS
  • experience with APIGEE
  • exposure to testing frameworks such as Cucumber, JUnit, Selenium
  • experience in no sql/ graph databases
