What we are looking for:

We are looking for 2x Junior/grad engineers to join a leading ASX FinTech organisation.

This is an amazing opportunity to get your career in the software industry off to a great start. As a Grad/Junior Engineer you will be paired with another experienced engineer. They will help you develop your engineering skills through code reviews, code management techniques, Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, DevOps, etc.

Skills/experience required:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar Technology-focused tertiary qualification completed or nearing completion
  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organisational, verbal & written communication skills
  • University or commercial experience with one or more technologies - ASP.NET, C#, React, Angular, Node.JS, .NET and SQL.
  • The ability to think laterally and consider the multiple possibilities that could be causing an issue (eg browser, device, code, etc)
  • Understanding of APIs
  • Ability to work in a support team on a roster that will cater for external business hours from time to time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts in customer experience
  • Strong commitment to learning the ins and outs of complicated technical products
  • Understanding of code management tools such as BitBucket or Git is highly desirable
