  • $88,928.45 – $98,762.95 per annum plus 9.5% superannuation with salary commensurate with experience.

The Opportunity

Positioned within Moonee Valley City Council (Council’s) People & Culture Department, this opportunity will see you partner with our largest Directorate to provide support, advice and strategies to key stakeholders for various Return to Work and Work Health & Safety (WHS) matters.

You will also be responsible for working with the broader Work Health & Safety (WHS) team to develop and implement WHS Management Systems, projects, policies and procedures to ensure best practice across the organisation.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant qualification in OHS, Injury Management and/or HR with some relevant worked experience or substantial demonstrated worked experience in RTW Coordination;
  • Experience in the development and delivery of OHS and RTW reporting and statistics;
  • Experience in the development and delivery of high quality OHS training and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide client focussed customer service, preferably on a case management basis.
  • Proven ability in providing effective leadership in best practice WHS management and experience working in line with work health and safety standards; and,
  • Sound knowledge of applicable Acts, regulations, policy and principles of work health and safety and injury management and accredited systems (i.e Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 2013. AS/NZS 4801 or ISO 45001).
