Here is why we need you…

We're looking for a Hands-On DevOps engineer to help spearheading the DevOps direction and standards within our engineering department. This means that you should know how to perform CICD, have written Infrastructure as a code using Cloudformation and/or Terraform, write code using any JavaScript framework (react, express, or angular) and/or written code using at-least any scripting/programming languages (python, perl, php, java or .NET).

As the leading player in the market, we need you to help us set the standard for the out of home industry and innovate with us using the latest and greatest in cloud and ML technologies.

Here’s What You’ll Do…

  • Ensure that all oOh! Media’s Systems are Up 24x7 - Monitoring, patching, scaling etc.
  • Raise infrastructure as a code while maintaining standard and quality
  • Integrate Applications into Monitoring and Alerting Systems
  • Successfully deliver a complete build pipeline deploying to different product stages
  • Working in cross-functional team in Agile environment
  • Responsible for reviewing technical and coding standards across engineering
  • Ensure technical quality and best practices
  • Help educate and mentor our engineers
  • Successfully deliver software to meet our customers
  • Ensure effective documentation and communication of knowledge and system process

This Is What You’ll Look Like…
  • Ideally an education background in computer science or similar disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge on designing, building and deploying infrastructure as a code using one or more of the following technologies: Terraform, AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Serverless Framework, Docker and Kubernetes­­­
  • Extensive and Working Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
  • Extensive experience in RESTful API design and development.
  • Solid understanding of Containerization and Microservices
  • 7+ years’ experience in designing, building, testing and deploying cloud native web application.
  • Working knowledge in any of the following technologies: ReactJS, Nodejs, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, .NET, or Java
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principle and practice, including code refactoring, design patterns, continuously integration, application security etc.
  • Experience with event driven Microservice architecture.
  • Strong analytical and programming skills.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database. E.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL

Advantageous But Not Essential
  • Experience in writing and maintaining monitoring alerts and metrics using e.g. Prometheus and Grafana
  • Knowledge with other Application Performance Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, DataDog, New Relic, Splunk/SignalFX or SolarWinds.
  • Knowledge in Security and Governance of IT Applications
  • Used any configuration management tool like Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
