A fast-growing, product-driven technology solutions business is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to play a key role assisting with quality assurance initiatives as part of a cross functional team as the organisation continues to grow.

Description

You will play a key role within your team, assisting with quality assurance initiatives and identifying areas for continued improvement and seeking opportunities to automate tests. You are accountable for ensuring products are designed to meet customer quality expectations and have no interruption in their service. As a technical leader, you will be instrumental to championing Quality Analysis best practice internally and play a coaching/mentoring role to junior QA's.

More specifically, you'll be responsible for:

  • Design, build, and execution of test plans and test cases, both manual and automated, using Agile methodologies.
  • Assisting with the build process and test each new build, including installation / deployment of builds and data conversion.
  • Working closely with testing peers to improve automated tool skills, agile testing practices, and supporting processes.
  • Conducting tests to measure the performance and quality of products against qualitative and quantitative criteria.
  • Configuring and managing test automation systems and providing the appropriate patterns for integration and consumption.
  • Performing hands on software testing including functional, data integrity, platform and performance, integration and regression testing
  • Contributing to the ongoing support of product releases in production.





Profile

The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following criteria:

Technical:

  • Experience as a quality assurance / test analyst working in a commercial software development environment.
  • Experience of structured quality assurance approaches and techniques including test planning & analysis, functional and non-functional testing and exploratory testing.
  • Significant knowledge of manual and automated testing processes and products.
  • Demonstrable involvement or engagement with the quality assurance/test community.



Job Offer
