Full Job Description
Lendlease require an experienced Civil Maintenance Worker who is responsible for undertaking reactive Water and Sewer network operational and maintenance tasks as required to meet client needs.

The maintenance team member will be required to provide general labour and plant operating skills in the repair of both water and sewer assets and other associated network maintenance activities in the Coliban Water region.

The successful candidate will be required to complete network maintenance tasks and rectify faults in an effective and timely manner. You will work cooperatively with other teams within the business and be able to respond to and assess unplanned works efficiently and safely within contractually agreed time frames.

Duties include but are not limited to;

Rectification of sewer or water faults within a timely manner.
Monitor customer and general public issues while on site and implement appropriate action.
Resolving customer complaints related to the delivery of reactive works, including investigation and reporting.
Ensure job OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance are in accordance with established procedures, policies and work standards.
Carry out labour tasks and ensure hand tools and plant are inspected prior to use and operated safely.
Isolation and restoration of the fault area.
Containment of sewer spills or other environmental issues as determined by site conditions at the time of attendance; Carry out data collection, task completion, reporting and administration via our mobile field computing system.

The position also requires performing rostered standby duties on a one week in four rotation. The Person Previous experience in plumbing and/or a civil maintenance background in water and sewer maintenance would be an advantage, however candidates with a “can do” attitude who are willing to learn will be considered.

Ideally you will have:
Knowledge of water and sewer reticulation systems
Experience in CCTV operation and drain cleaning
Medium or Heavy rigid truck license
Excavator license
Confined space ticket
Traffic Management ticket
A willingness to learn and a positive work ethic
