ANT Neuro Australia, the newest member of the Dutch neuromotion group, is responsible for marketing and sales of ANT Neuro’s innovative research and clinical EEG and TMS product lines in Australia. ANT Neuro Australia is a dynamic company with a promising outlook, building an ambitious team to grow the company.


We are currently looking for a highly motivated professional to fill the role of Sales Engineer.

If you have a research background and want to apply your skills at the intersection of neuroscience, technology, engineering, and medical diagnostics, we encourage you to apply. To be successful, you will have a technical / scientific background, and be strongly commercially oriented with a keen interest in supporting our customers to succeed in their scientific or clinical ambitions. You will need to professionally communicate with new and existing customers and work closely with them to identify the best fit product options and solutions. The ideal candidate brings in an existing network of potential customers and local partners. We offer competitive compensation and attractive working conditions. After training on our continuously evolving product portfolio, you will work directly with our global sales executives and application experts to meet the ambitious sales goals for Australia. You will build relationships with customers while representing a strong international player in the medical/research device market. The person in this role will be working remotely from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.This position involves significant traveling throughout Australia.


Main responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new accounts and identification of recurring sales opportunities with existing customers.
  • Regularly visit our customers and maintain a long-term relationship. Create and execute a follow up plan after each visit.
  • Follow an analytical approach to further development the market according to the agreed targets.
  • Negotiate with potential customers about the system configuration, pricing, and commercial conditions.
  • Coordinate and execute product demonstrations, trainings, and installations.
  • Properly maintain all customer correspondence and commercial documentation according to company policy.
  • Drive promotional activities, including conferences, both in Australia and assist in selected global promotion for other markets.
  • Diligently follow up on provided offers, fulfillment, and after-sales service.
  • Maintain an excellent level of knowledge on our products and the market.
  • Provide a quarterly forecast towards sales management.


Qualifications

  • Good understanding of clinical neuroscience research technology and prior background in EEG or TMS research
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Positive work attitude and service oriented mentality
  • Strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Windows and Office Suite) and ability to operate complex equipment
  • In possession of a valid Passport and Driver's License
  • Willingness to travel flexibly and on a regular basis, up to 60% of working time in peak season
  • Education: MSc or PhD in neuroscience or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in a commercial / sales role preferred
  • Good pre-existing network in relevant communities preferred
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
