We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will play a key role in the following:


  • Concept development
  • Detailed design and drawings
  • Machine assembly, testing, commissioning and installation
  • Project Management
  • Customer Support


 For technically minded and motivated individuals, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience and or qualifications relating to the following 4 Key Selection Criteria:


  1. Be a qualified Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer or have progressed via an Engineering Trade background.
  2. Minimum of 5 years direct experience in industrial automation design
  3. Experience with Solidworks/CAD design
  4. Knowledge of the following:
  • Pneumatic systems (including valves & valve terminals, cylinders, linear & rotary axis, grippers, vacuum hardware & air preparation)
  • Servo drive systems & associated hardware
  • Linear drive & support components (linear bearings, ballscrews etc.)
  • Electro & electro-mechanical switches & sensors
  • Custom components manufacture (milling, turning, wire cutting, EDM, laser/waterjet cutting, folding, welding etc.)
