About the position:

  • Variety of tasks to support networks, systems and data through telephone, email, ticketing systems and remote means.
  • Advanced technical support across a diverse range of technology from end-user support to complex line of business applications and network topologies.
  • Technical support of server operating systems such as Microsoft Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and virtualisation platforms VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Technical support of Microsoft Range of Products including Office 365, Microsoft 365 Windows as well as management and migrations.
  • Maintenance of client's critical assets through backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.


About you personally:


You need to have vast experience working for a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP), because you need to be able to multi-task. You need to be confident in your knowledge, because you will be expected to resolve tricky IT related issues in a timely manner. You need to have professional communication both verbal and written, because you will liaise with clients through phone calls and emails, and will input notes about tickets on our systems so your colleagues can help you to track it from there. You need to be dynamic, because you will work with colleagues working from different locations. You need to be motivated to broaden your skills, because our focus is to exceed expectations. You need to have legal rights to work in Australia, because you will be required to work full time. You need to valid a driver's licence, because you may be required to perform support onsite.

Our requirements regarding professional expertise:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows server operating systems including deployment, configuration and management (all versions).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Exchange / Office365 including hybrid, migration, implementation and management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of active directory / security structure (files and folders).
  • Experience in networking, firewalls and switching particularly in design, configuration, implementation and management.
  • Ability to support end-user devices including desktops laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, smart devices, etc.
  • Desire to work with a range of line of business applications such as Microsoft 365, specialised practice software, etc.

What we desire (but do not require) regarding your professional expertise:

  • Computer Science Degree or relevant tertiary IT qualification.
  • Industry or vendor certifications such as AWS, Microsoft or Cisco.
  • Cloud experience in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
  • Exposure to VoIP solutions and telephony technology.
