About the Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the high quality delivery of planning, scheduling, coordinating, superintendence and reporting of civil works as well as provision of advice to the Infrastructure Maintenance Leadership Team regarding best practice processes and methodology for programming and scheduling of work. 

You will be a customer focussed, motivated, and energetic team member that performs condition and risk assessments and prioritise works for delivery, and develop contract specifications to engage contractors and provide contractor management.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and engage with many different stakeholders including leaders, team members, contractors and members of the public.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of civil engineering, design and construction, engineering survey principles, trends, techniques, compliance, legislation and regulations.
  • Proven experience and success in developing and managing contracts together with the ability to negotiate to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Knowledge of contemporary management practices for maintenance of public assets.
  • Demonstrated skills in Work programming and scheduling, performance measurement and documentation of service standards.
