About the role:

The role is critical to the development and implementation of cost saving initiatives within the Value Engineering program. This requires leading all required activities through the “Idea to Execution” (or Stage & Gate) process. The Project Manager will work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of R&D, Operations, Planning, Procurement, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and so forth. Whilst the primary focus will be on project management of VE initiatives, the role may from time to be required to lead other types of projects impacting Supply Chain, including but not limited to Innovation, Strategic Sourcing, Decomplexity, Technical and Transformational.

Identification and execution of Value Engineering projects liaising between project teams, KHC factories and internal stakeholders
Supporting the development of the ANJ VE program and delivery of savings associated with that plan
Leading selected Value Engineering projects from idea to launch.
Assuring the overall pipeline delivery (Staying on track vs. plan, mitigating risks & keeping stakeholders aligned)
Managing cross-functional stakeholders and presenting to the Leadership Team
Support cross portfolio value engineering workshops

About you:

Educated to Bachelor / Master’s degree level.
3+ years Value Engineering / Project Management / Operations / Research & Development experience
3+ years’ experience in the Food Industry will be advantageous
Demonstrated track record in Operations will be advantageous
Strong influencing skills, stakeholder management and collaboration
Experienced in change management and project management
Demonstrates superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills to multiple levels of the organization.
Motivated, self-directed, and detail oriented.
Able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously & to develop priorities for self and members of project team.
Ability to travel
English language is essential, ideally second and third language is advantageous.
Formal project management training will be advantageous
