The Department of Transport brings together all transport modes to design, plan, build and operate Victoria's transport system. Our job is to further integrate the transport network and improve the delivery of services to Victorians for simpler, quicker and safer journeys that connect people and places and support Victoria's prosperity and liveability. SENIOR PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER OFFICER

  • Annual Salary Range: VPS4 - $87,640 - $99,438 + super
  • Tenure: Fixed Term [12 Months]
  • Employment Type: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual Work Location: Bendigo (flexibility may be available)

About the Team

To deliver transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network.

About the Opportunity

Exercise professional independent judgement to develop road project proposals in accordance with corporate guidelines including development of innovative responses to complex problems.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Exercise professional independent judgement in the application of the requirements of the Project Management Toolkit in the management of multiple complex project proposals.
  • Develop a range of alternatives for a particular problem.
  • Exercise professional independent judgement to prepare estimates for complex projects using historical data gathered from similar works and current market rates.
  • Provide sound advice and tailor communications to meet customer needs.
  • Supervises, guides and monitors others to deliver outcomes that meet relevant performance indicators and targets.
