You will be working for an international company and providing operational support for technical escalations.

Work from home from anywhere remote work.

Skill set and experience:

  • Expertise in Windows Server (2012 & 2016), Linux Server (CentOS, RedHat) platforms, and general database (MySQL and MS SQL Server 2012 and above) administration skills.
  • Basic network knowledge (IP address, Gateway, NAT) & working knowledge of Load Balancing (Netscalers, Nginx) & Firewall (like ASA)
  • Manage and support Active Directory, certificate management and common network services required to deliver applications, e.g. DNS, SSL/TLS, SMTP.etc
  • Knowledge of integration technologies, e.g. REST APIs, Identity & Access Management (knowledge of OpenIDConnect and SAML)
  • Write scripts to automate day to day deployment tasks, general scripting skills, and orchestration tools like Puppet/Ansible & AzureDevOps would be highly regarded.
  • Basic understanding of container technologies like Docker and tools like Kubernetes
  • Demonstrable advanced application debugging (Microsoft .NET technology stack) and troubleshooting skills.
  • Adhere to process, such as incident and change management (ITIL desirable) and ability to maintain application documentation and records in accordance with changes made.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant industry certifications like MCSE/MCTS/Azure

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage and support web applications and associated platform environments for cloud and managed services customers.
  • Act as a technical escalation for customer support requests.
  • Monitor, respond and report on environment (application, platform & infrastructure) metrics in accordance with agreed customer SLAs for availability, performance and capacity.
  • Contribute as a technical resource/SME on customer projects including new deployments, upgrades and migrations.
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) for the application deployment and integration considerations of solutions and as such keep up to date with relevant industry technology trends and knowledge share within and across teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to the delivery of cloud and managed services.
  • Provide input/feedback to development teams regarding the non-functional and integration elements of applications/solutions
  • Provide L3 support.
  • SQL databases operations and manipulations as required or requested including backup plans and maintenance.
