The role:

Cardno’s Traffic and Transport team is currently seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to work in our Perth office on a full-time basis to provide traffic and transport solutions for the community. With a passion for shaping traffic solution outcomes, you will be involved hands on with the technical assessment and documentation for projects. This position will allow you to develop your management and client relationship skills.

About you:

To be successful you will display –

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic or Transport Engineering
  • With at least 2 years' experience in the related field.
  • Good knowledge of the traffic and road safety industry including familiarity with best practice technical assessment tools
  • Knowledge and experience within the Australian market (WA ideally)
  • Knowledge of SIDRA, AIMSUN, PARAMICS and VISSIM desirable
  • Previous experience within a consulting environment
  • A commercial commitment to complete projects on time and within budget
  • A proven ability to actively contribute to a team of professional staff
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
