Elecforce Australia takes pride in boasting an experience spread across 20 years in the electrical industry.

We have a huge network of loyal clients and regular customers and we are currently looking for a full time Electrical Engineering Technician to maintain its growing business.

Candidates with the following will be highly regarded:

• Relevant Advanced Diploma or relevant equivalent qualifications and minimum 2 years relevant Industrial experience. 


  • Undertake maintenance activities and contribute to the day to day operation and maintenance for the site. 
  • Visiting various sites to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing of machinery and equipment.
  • Participate in the repairs and preventative maintenance of all site plant and equipment, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conduct tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds.
  •  Maintain stocks of parts used in on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances.
  • Delivering preventative maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules.
  • Maintain effective lines of communication between the team and all other internal customers.
  • Reviewing tasks to be completed & liaising with our technical team on the status of tasks.
  • Developing relationships with client's facilities management & liaising with building Management & project managers during contract works.
  •  Working closely with installation teams including informing engineers and people in all levels of the building/sub-contracting industry, assisting in prioritizing capital works. 
  • Providing training for safe operating procedure to new operator.
  • Participate in maintenance strategy development and work with shift Team Leaders & Trades to ensure the maintenance plan is executed .
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planner to ensure that the optimum plan is developed.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated; results orientated, and have to meet the following criteria:

  •  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  •  Ability to read and interpret electrical & mechanical engineering drawings
  •  Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organizational skills
  •  An ability to self manage tasks as required & ability to perform under pressure and within tight time-frames
  •  Exceptional problem-solving skills at pace, organizational and planning skills, backed by a good technical and practical understanding
  •  Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly motivated with a keen interest to further your own ability and studies. 
  •  Capable of developing & maintaining relationships with all levels of internal & external partnering.
  •  Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities
  • High work ethic and solid work history.
