RBP Facilities & Asset Management provide a wide range of construction and trade services including renovations, bathrooms, kitchens, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other services

Now, due to growth within the organisation there is a need for experienced and highly skilled estimator to join our estimating team.


· Compile tenders, estimates and quotations for residential and commercial projects

· Represent the company at site visits and meetings

· Provide construction related advice to clients regarding buildability and budgets in line with Australian standards

· Supervise and report on project progress

· Input and interpret data from RBP’s CRM software

· Utilise sales techniques to increase sales conversions for the company

· Ensure the implementation of company procedures in accordance with the RBP staff handbook

· Compile handover task sheets for technicians

· Source and order materials for projects

· Coordinate material ordering and deliveries with suppliers, administration staff and technicians

· Co-ordinate with consultants, engineers and councils for relevant approvals

· Answer queries relating to quotes, tenders and live jobs in a timely fashion

· Search for and identify new tender opportunities for the business

· Manage client expectations

· Actively look to better operational procedures to make the company more efficient

· Produce monthly reports on quotations to share with the leadership team

· Regularly record job notes and progress via RBP’s scheduling app.

· Other tasks as directed

· All of the above to be completed in accordance with the RBP staff handbook



· Degree in Construction Management or related Financial Degree

· Clean Driving License


· 3 years’ experience in a similar estimating, contract administration or project management role


· Ability to carry out quality control for all of the above trade services.

· Must have an eye for detail and be able to produce high quality tenders and estimates

· Strong computer skills (office, word and excel) and ability to write emails

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Confidence, resilience, active listening, rapport building and entrepreneurial spirit

· Organised and able to meet deadlines

· Excellent problem solving skills

· Good interpersonal skills (staff will be required to promote a positive image of the company to all clients and stakeholders)

· Very well presented


· Achieve specific sales targets

· Ensure all client requests are responded to in a timely manner

· Promote a positive image for the company

· Assist with the development of more inexperienced colleagues and apprentices
