Government TechnologyPlatform (GTP) ensures thatNSW Citizens have a consistently great digitial customer experience when theydeal with the NSW Government. We are responsible for the whole of governmentICT and digital, core and common platforms, product development and support. Weare a trusted software, platform and infrastructure service provider toindustry and NSW Government.

We develop and innovate inpartnership with Agencies to deliver and support digital solutions that makeinteracting with government efficient, effective and secure.

Key challenges in this role will include

  • Build and lead a team of mulesoft developers
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support
  • Responsible for building Integrations between business applications (such as Oracle ERP, Salesforce, Siebel) and 3rd party systems/applications. 
  • Responsible for designing, building and documenting new APIs for third party consumption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical/non-technical stakeholders to gather and understand the requirements
  • Understand and implement secure credential management options and proper encryption practices both in motion and at REST
  • Control integration quality and develop ways to detect and correct anomalies with data exchange
  • Develop monitoring and alerting process while building the integrations for scale. 
  • Be a self-starter and team player with solid verbal and written communication skills

To be successful in this position you willhave:

  • Degree qualifications in IT or extensive experience in the provision of IT applications and IT service delivery. MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) highly regarded
  • 6+ years prior experience developing solutions on MuleSoft integration platform.
  • Familiarity with business applications; such as Salesforce, Siebel, Azure, AWS and Database platform etc. 
  • Experience in design, developing, testing, implementation and documentation of Mule APIs using Anypoint platform (Mule 4) and fluent with MuleSoft's API Led Methodology.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Connectors.
  • Minimum of 6 years coding experience in languages such as Java, C#, SOAP/Rest Web services, XSLT, XML and Json etc.
  • Proficiency in building complex mappings using DataWeave 2.0.
  • Proficiency in web service design using RAML (with JSON/XML)
  • Skilled on Anypoint Platform Runtime (On Premise and CloudHub).
  • Experience in building common services framework for logging, error handling, configuration, authentication and authorization.
  • Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins and MuleSoft.

Salary Clerk Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role startingat $128,473 base plus superannuation
