Nuix is currently seeking a IT Support Engineer to join our growing Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strong knowledge of providing support in both a Mac and Windows Environment
  • Analyse and evaluate reported end user service requests, failures and errors across hardware related issues (Dell and Apple), mobile device support, audio visual, video conferencing, printers.
  • Provide recommendations on the replacement of computer peripherals and configuration changes in order to correct software issues.
  • Contribute new ideas for new technical solutions, including testing and installation of new releases.
  • Inventory Management and system documentation.
  • Adherence to service level targets and proactive incident ticket management.
  • PC setup (image cloning), software installation and packaging

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of IT field and desktop experience in a medium to large corporate environment with minimum 400+ users.
  • Strong technical knowledge supporting Windows, Mac OS and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and virtualisation
  • Strong knowledge and skills in the Microsoft Office 365 and Google G Suite offering
  • Basic scripting skills in PowerShell
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral with strong ability to deal with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.
  • Can-do attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Experience performing support for a technology/software business
  • Experience administering endpoint security solutions (Anti-Virus, Encryption, NAC)

  • Strong analytical capability and demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of detailed information.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including drafting skills, and ability to effectively interact with staff, senior management, and internal clients.
  • Ability to work within multiple time zones to meet the needs of global customers.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently, take ownership for tasks and be accountable for results and performance.
