Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services.

Our client is a leading Australian Rail Freight Operator, including coal rail network. They have a number of vacancies for licenced Electricians to work in the Rockhampton and Mackay areas.

The work will also involve travel to interstate work sites with accommodation and travel expenses provided.

About your new role:

Successful applicants will be employed on an ongoing casual basis to work 10 to 12 hour shifts (alternating night and day shifts on a rotating roster).

Duties will include operating work stations on new machinery

Assisting with repairs during breakdowns

Washing down plant and equipment

Minor maintenance between production shifts.

Manual handling and heavy lifting involved

About you:

Must have current QLD electrical licence

Attention to detail and delivering quality work

Team player

Experience in the rail freight, coal or mining industry is an advantage but not essential

Must have full Australian work rights such as birth certificate, passport, citizenship etc and be able to provide two most recent contactable work references

All applicants must complete a Cat 3 rail medical (including drug and alcohol testing) prior to start
