Your day to day

As the Chief Engineer, you'll manage the engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members. 

This role also champions risk management and carbon reduction strategies within the hotel, with a focus on continuous improvement. Working closely to maintain the hotel in peak condition, complying with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and InterContinental brand standards.




What we need from you

You will hold tertiary qualification or advanced vocational training plus 2 years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience. You will have a specialised level of expertise and trade qualification in either plumbing, electrical, mechanical or carpentry and hospitality experience would be an advantage.
