We are looking for candidates with exceptional technical skills to harden our solution and improve our stack posture. You & your new role The ideal candidates will be working on current technologies provided through Amazon Web Services and Azure. A focus will be placed on your ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js (etc). Experience with building Front End (Miniapp) and Back End (Microservices) applications. Also required is hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, particularly with a focus on leading teams of junior developers and goal oriented through features delivery. In addition to your strong technical capability, you will be a proven team player, independent thinker and have a collaborative attitude towards your work and colleagues. Key Role Activities: • Design and implement FE (MiniApp) and BE (Microservices) using NABX and NABServ respectively. • Be a go to person for Developers and Service team members for troubleshooting and development support. • Strong knowledge of and practical software development experience in Java and Spring frameworks • Experience in developing APIs to interact with frontend code. • In-depth knowledge and experience with data modelling and database design of relational and NoSQL database systems. • Git for version control, branching and merging practices • Experience with test-driven development, test automation & continuous delivery • Proficiency working with React.js & NodeJS • Fluency working with fundamental Frontend Technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap) • Experience with Automated UI Testing • Work in an agile environment, attending stand-ups, retros, planning, showcases and other agile meetings and ceremonies. • Work closely with product owners, and engineering stakeholders to define platform requirements and priorities. • Mentor junior engineer to grow on the same journey together. Your skills & experience • Strong experience with: Java, Spring Restful Services, SQL, Amazon ECS, Amazon S3, JavaScript, Python, Microservices, Linux/Unix Shell Scripting, Docker, BFF (Backend For Frontend), NodeJS, ReactJS, Single Page Application (SPA), HTML5, CSS3, Docker, GraphQL - desirable but not essential • AWS (S3, EC2, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation, Lambda) • Understanding of how to build performant, testable and maintainable code • Enjoy learning, sharing and mentoring with teammates and working collaboratively to provide the best service to our stakeholders • Git for version control, branching and merging practices • Hands-on experience of deploying and maintaining infrastructure • Certified in AWS (Developer + Architect) preferred
