What will you be doing

Due to recent project wins, we are looking to grow our team of skilled Project Managers within the Transport sector. This is an opportunity to lead the management and delivery of medium scale transport infrastructure projects that will see you
Taking responsibility for the project management of individual or multiple projects, driving project performance and service delivery;
Providing effective leadership, direction and championing a quality culture, ensuring quality assurance systems are appropriately applied;
Monitoring, Organizationifying and forecasting the commercial performance of projects and reporting to the business on a monthly basis;
Liaising with business units to ensure projects are adequately resourced to deliver to project requirements;
Managing effective client and stakeholder relationships to secure repeat work;
Directing the assessment, selection and management of suppliers, sub-consultants and contractors associated with projects and coordinating the execution of contracts; and
Assisting with bidding and tendering as required.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life through your contribution to city shaping infrastructure projects. You are experience in project management of infrastructure projects.
You will come to us with
Extensive years of experience in the transport engineering sector with at least 5 years as a project manager;
Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering multidisciplinary project teams for transportation projects within a design and engineering consultancy environment;
Demonstrated experience working on TfNSW projects, in the road and rail infrastructure sectors, with a particular desire for TAP project experience;
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills;
Team leadership skills to effectively manage internal resources, sub-consultants, clients and other stakeholders across multiple disciplines;
Established stakeholder management skills with a focus on building credible, collaborative but influential relationships both internally and externally. Experience working with contractors and established relationships within the transport industry will be looked upon favourably;
The ability to effectively manage project set-up and planning and implement risk and change management during project delivery to ensure positive project oCompanyomes; and
A civil, structural or rail engineering background will be looked upon favourably.
