What will you be doing

Due to recent project wins, we are looking to grow our team of skilled Project Managers within the Transport sector. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for the management and delivery of medium and large scale transport infrastructure projects that will see you
Lead Company and Joint Venture teams in the delivery of projects to meet client requirements for cost, time and quality and ensure delivery of successful project from both a client and Company perspective;
Lead, manage and mentor project teams to develop Arcadians to their full potential and achieve successful, enjoyable project oCompanyomes for both our client and our team;
Implement and manage effective financial and project controls to enable monitoring, management and forecasting as appropriate;
Driving project performance, service delivery and technical and commercial oCompanyomes; and
Contribute to bids and tenders as required.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for

First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life through your contribution to city shaping infrastructure projects. You are experienced in project management of large and medium scale infrastructure projects for Transport for NSW.

You will come to us with

Relevant engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation;
Extensive project management experience in transport infrastructure within the NSW market including managing engineering, designers and drafters on major projects;
Demonstrated commercial capability, with a clear grasp of project commercial management, familiarity with contract management and the ability to assess risk;
Proficient in program development and management, with capability in MS Project (as a minimum) and experience in Primavera P6 considered an advantage
Experience leading Transport for NSW infrastructure projects in either direct commissions with TfNSW or through Design and Construct contracts;
Confidence representing Company to clients including the ability to manage challenging interactions and lead negotiations;
A focus on building credible, collaborative but influential relationships both internally and externally.
The ability to effectively manage project set-up and planning and implement risk and change management during project delivery to ensure positive project oCompanyomes; and
A highways engineering background will be looked upon favourably.
