We are currently seeking a Senior Project Enginner to join our team based in Perth with regular travel to Roy Hill.

As the Senior Project Engineer, you will assist in deploying and supporting Epiroc’s new systems and technology with a focus on technical expertise of autonomous systems and project management. This role is responsible for providing support to monitor project engineering performance, engineering quality and HSE in design required to achieve customer sign-off of the engineering design of the autonomous systems.

You will ideally have experience in the mining industry, have a technical background with an aptitude for mechanical and electrical equipment. You will have an interest in following latest market and industry needs and have the ability to align Epiroc Australia’s product roadmap accordingly.

Qualifications

Prior work experience or degree in an engineering discipline is strongly preferred due to the technical nature of this position. Understanding and prior work in the mining industry is also advantageous.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and coordinate document reviews
  • Lise with customer on technical issues
  • Provide support and assistance to the project team
  • Identify requirements and define scope for projects
  • Develop and manage test and comissioning plans as well as support the execution of commissioning
  • Assist in developing procedures and installation guidelines
