lecforce Australia takes pride in boasting an experience spread across 20 years in the electrical industry. We have a huge network of loyal clients and regular customers and we are currently looking for a full time Electrical Engineer Technician to maintain its growing business.

Candidates with the following will be highly regarded:

  • · Relevant Advanced Diploma or relevant equivalent qualifications and minimum 2 years relevant Industrial experience.


  • Undertake maintenance activities and contribute to the day to day operation and maintenance for the site.
  • Visiting various sites to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing of machinery and equipment.
  • Participate in the repairs and preventative maintenance of all site plant and equipment, and drive continuous improvement
  • Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conduct tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds
  • Maintain stocks of parts used in on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances.
  • Delivering preventative maintenance works in accordance with planned schedules.
  • Maintain effective lines of communication between the team and all other internal customers
  • Reviewing tasks to be completed & liaising with our technical team on the status of tasks
  • Developing relationships with client's facilities management & liaising with building Management & project managers during contract works
  • Working closely with installation teams including informing engineers and people in all levels of the building/sub-contracting industry, assisting in prioritizing capital works.
  • Providing training for safe operating procedure to new operator
  • Participate in maintenance strategy development and work with shift Team Leaders & Trades to ensure the maintenance plan is executed
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planner to ensure that the optimum plan is developed

The successful applicant will be highly motivated; results orientated, and have to meet the following criteria:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical & mechanical engineering drawings
  • Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organizational skills
  • An ability to self manage tasks as required & ability to perform under pressure and within tight time-frames
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills at pace, organizational and planning skills, backed by a good technical and practical understanding
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly motivated with a keen interest to further your own ability and studies.
  • Capable of developing & maintaining relationships with all levels of internal & external partnering.
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities
  • High work ethic and solid work history. You will be a strong team player willing to help others achieve a common goal with a desire to produce great products
  • Driven to meet business standards and customer expectations, and attain ‘best in class’

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
