Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking office and field-based professionals for contract opportunities across Australia.

About The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible for coordinating Offshore well services (well intervention) related engineering and planning activities including Offshore well services well-site supervision on the Bayu / Reindeer and John Brookes facilities.

Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To

  • Coordinating all project-related well services related engineering activities including work-over and well intervention operations e.g. platform/well-site interfaces, equipment design and spec, material selection, down-hole hydraulics, tool-string selection, contingency planning etc.
  • Understanding well barriers and well integrity, reviewing and assessing well integrity, identifying barrier requirements and drawing barrier diagrams etc.
  • Delivering budgetary and AFE level time and cost estimates for completions/well services activities
  • Coordinating well design reviews, operational reviews, risk assessments, HAZIDS and operational reviews for assigned wells
  • Ensuring equipment is ordered, delivered, inspected and fit for purpose with reviewed and authorized procedures
  • If not supervising offshore, supporting day-to-day well services operational activities including operational/trouble-shooting support, DDR review, time and cost tracking (including performance actual versus planned tracking), LAH and logistics planning etc.
  • Supervising offshore operations at the well-site by leading a cross-functional well-site team to safely and efficiently execute day-to-day operations of the well intervention work programs
  • Conducting project close-outs including but not limited to; well hand-over documents, resolves invoice discrepancies, EOWRs, AAR’s and estimated final costs
Your Key Skills And Experience Include
  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Level 4 (Supervisor) certification
  • 10+ years' experience in Well Interventions (Onshore or Offshore) with some experience in both well planning and operations.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Offshore Well Interventions
  • Applicants must be residing in Perth, WA
