Project Developer and Applications Engineer, located in rural Central Victoria.

Main Tasks:

  • Implement successful Building Information Modelling (BIM) system to streamline projects division and future growth.
  • Ensure final designs comply with Building Code of Australia & Australian Standards.
  • Produce detailed engineering design document and drawings from CAD & Revit.
  • Liaise with manufacturers to achieve design solution to challenges requested by customer.
  • Communicate with architects and engineers to incorporate knowledge gained into drawings.
  • Work together with manufacturers to achieve design solution to challenges requested by customer.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Ability to support the project division and sales team converting basic concepts to engineering designs and producing specifications and drawings for client sign off and manufacture.
  • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders in technical queries while developing products and projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple demanding deadlines.
  • Understanding engineering documentation, including electrical, gas, hydraulic and structural schematic drawings with relevant expereince in CAD and Revit.
  • Understanding architectural documentation, plans, joinery drawings and schedules.
  • Understanding joinery and steel construction methodology.
  • Use of any computer programming language.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering (preferred) or Bachelor of Design or Technology
  • Two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Use of any computer programming language and engineering drawing software.
