About the Team

Located in Redbank, the Logistics Engineering team supports our Vehicles Systems, Electronics Solutions and Weapons department. This is a rare chance to join a collaborative team of logisticians, engineers, technical specialists and analysts. The program you will be working on is the Land 400 Phase 2 Boxer program, delivering new and innovative combat solutions to the Australian Army.

About The Role

The Support Analyst is responsible for managing and developing supportability data and executing logistic support analysis processes, to contribute to the design, production and sustainment of the L400 Phase 2 Boxer vehicles across the multiple variants. RDA will train, support and mentor you to develop and enhance skills in the areas of support engineering.

You Can Anticipate Some Of Your Day-to-day Tasks To Include

As the Support Analyst, you will participate in a large and complex Defence program with many opportunities to learn new skills and grow your experience.

  • Defining and determining maintenance and support requirements for the Boxer vehicle variants;
  • Generate and collate data to populate a Logistic Support Analysis database;
  • Learn to manage and manipulate the Logistic Support Analysis database including defining and creating levels of system indenture, and creating and maintaining records and reports;
  • Conducting and contributing to the analysis of repair levels and policies for the Boxer vehicles; and
  • Become skilled in the execution of extensive logistic analysis and calculations on availability, reliability, maintainability and testability.

The Experience And Skillset Required For This Role Includes

This developmental role will suit a recent engineering graduate, an experienced technical tradespersons, or an existing logistics support analysts searching for further skills development.

There are several streams of qualifications and experience that could be relevant for this role:
  • Recent Degree in Engineering or another relevant Tertiary STEM qualification; or Cert IV in a relevant technical trade with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • The ability to analyse complex technical systems;Knowledge of design, production and / or support techniques for complex equipment;
  • Ability to work with information covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations;
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain the appropriate Australian Security Clearance;
  • Proficient in MS Office (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); and
  • Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required.
The experience and skillset that would be highly regarded for this role includes:
  • Demonstrated professional experience in the field of Logistic Support Analysis;
  • Experience in populating and maintaining a LSA database; and
  • Experience in a support environment for complex Defence related equipment.
