TRAFFIC ENGINEER/OFFICER

  • Annual Salary Range: $70,791 - $85,956
  • Tenure: Ongoing
  • Employment Type: Full Time (flexible work arrangements may be available)
  • Usual Work Location: Loddon Mallee Region (flexibility may be available)


About the Team

To deliver transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network.

About the Opportunity

Under broad supervision. delivering assigned planning projects on time, within budget and to specified standards, ensuring adequately addressing the network deficiencies and requirements, environmental and community expectations.

About You

  • Ability to understand the appropriate Acts, Standards, Regulations, Codes and Guidelines for road safety, traffic engineering and planning principles.
  • Ability to apply the principles and procedures of relevant Acts, Standards, Regulations, Codes and Guidelines relating to road safety, traffic engineering and planning activities.
  • Ability to write articulately and persuasively when responding to key stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate and influence stakeholders and community to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Ability to assist other team members to achieve key projects and/ or organisational goals.
  • Ability to develop expertise in road safety, traffic engineering and planning principles.
