The Gig
 
A great opportunity for a Project Engineer seeking a long-term career opportunity! Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be working on key industrial and commercial projects across various sectors.

Your mission critical is twofold! You will be accountable to ensure construction is carried out within the technical specifications of the project, ensuring documentation of QA and compliance; AND, plan, coordinate and safely execute the project onsite by efficient deployment of resources, within time, scope, and budget!

Your Toolbox
 
You are an exceptional communicator, hold a solid commercial acumen, and strong mathematical skills! You are a natural problem solver, highly analytical and have a drive to implement innovative solutions! Your knowledge of industry practices; building codes; equipment; materials; tools, plant and equipment - And how they all interconnect will see you thrive onsite!

You will be trusted with:

  • Determining construction methods, materials, quality standards, drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures.
  • Organising and directing site labour and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities.
  • Studying architectural and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs and preparing detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control.
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations to designs.
  • Analysing structural systems for both static and dynamic loads.
  • Meticulously adhere to all HSEQ policies, procedures, and document requirements.

Due to the nature of some regional projects, you may be required to undertake infrequent travel.

Your Craft

  • 3 - 5 years construction Industry training and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction
  • Construction safety competencies
