What you’ll do:

  • The QE Lead owns the quality engineering practice for their tribe by building a team of strong quality engineers, striving to uplift overall software quality, and driving high levels of automation to support CI/CD.
  • As the manager of all QE within a tribe, the QE Lead will hire, coach and build a strong team of engineers to meet and maintain the tribe’s quality objectives.
  • The QE Lead owns the test strategy and plan for all squads within the tribe and executes on the strategy to assure high levels of quality.
  • The QE Lead also owns the tribe’s test data and ensures the integrity of test environments.
  • The role has a dotted line report to the QE Leader who will drive consistency and standards within the tribe by providing technical guidance and direction.
The QE Lead will be part of the Tribe Leadership.

What are we looking for?
  • Over 5 years experience with strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment
  • Experience in the development of testing programs, test cases, test scripts, and their execution in medium to large scale development environments
  • Experience in the use of automated software-testing tools, testing methodologies, testing techniques and standards
  • Ability to implement and direct quality assurance processes and principles and maintain quality of delivery
