About the Role
Ventia are currently seeking an Electrician in Middlemount that is responsible for providing electrical repairs & maintenance to Anglo American building, plant & equipment at the Capcoal Village. The Electrician will work across an 8/6-days DIDO roster.


Repairs and maintenance of electrical wires and light fittings

Fault finding, reactive repairs and refurbishment works

Represent the company in a professional manner whilst performing quality workmanship ensuring that the service is delivered to the customer's and company's satisfaction and within budget constraints

Effectively communicate with customers where required and to support other trades people in maximising customer satisfaction

Complete all related paperwork as necessary in a timely manner e.g. timesheets, purchase orders, job dockets, minor estimates, technical reports etc.

Compliance with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures

Experiences & Qualifications

A Grade Electrical License

Certificate 3 in Electrotechnology

Drivers License

White Card

Minimum 3 - 5 years post trade experience in a Mining/Commercial/Industrial environment

Previous experience working in a building maintenance position involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules

Good understanding of contractual relationships and what is required to successful fulfil obligations

An understanding and commitment to OH&S, risk management and hazard identification
