Job Description

About the Opportunity

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for interfacing with client representatives, developing, and delivering engineering documentation to support successful delivery of EOS Systems to Defence. The role requires a broad understanding of all system engineering disciplines, with particular emphasis on the standards of documentation required by defence customers.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Develops, updates and manages the timely delivery of system engineering documentation to customers in support of the achievement of the project goals.
  • Ensure that requirements management, design traceability and configuration management are undertaken according to relevant standards.
  • Ensure that compliance with the required contract deliverables and processes can be demonstrated.
  • Represents EOS at meetings with the customer to ensure successful delivery of all required deliverables.
  • Coordinate the system engineering reviews for the development activities undertaken.
  • Provide integrated logistics support to the development team through reliability, maintainability and availability analysis.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation to support the system engineering activities.
About You

You can work cooperatively with internal and external delivery teams and individuals, and have proven experience in the successful delivery of documentation associated with capability delivery to Defence. You will be have:
  • Demonstrated experience successfully communicating with customers to achieve desired deliverable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise with project engineering activities and planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering.
  • Degree qualification in Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Post graduate qualifications in System Engineering desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years in similar role.
  • Experience in defence sector preferred.
