About the Company

I'm representing an established renewables specialist in their search for a Renewable Energy Engineer.

About the Role

You will provide technical support of the engineering design process, perform activities such as owners / lenders engineering, technical due diligence and early stage development across a range of renewable energy projects (PV / wind / BESS / hydrogen). PV experience is essential as the initial focus is on a large upcoming solar PV plant. You will join an established team and will also have the opportunity to work on renewable projects across Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering design of PV, wind farm and BESS projects
  • Perform technical due diligence of renewable energy assets
  • Perform owners / lenders engineering duties
  • Conduct yield assessments using tools such as PVsyst
  • Provide support across early stage project development
  • Perform site visit to projects already in operation to identify any potential issues
  • If previous experience, design layout of PV plants AutoCAD, Helios 3D and PVcase)
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering (open to different disciplines)
  • Experience working on utility scale PV plants (design, development, construction etc)
  • Technical knowledge of wind / PV / BESS / hydrogen projects
  • Substation experience also valued
  • Prior experience doing OE / LE / Technical DD / Project Development would be ideal
  • Knowledge of grid connection matters
  • AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Project skills beneficial
