Are you a Supervisor who is looking for a change with a innovating growing company.


Our client is currently seeking a Civil Supervisor, for a full-time position, to coordinate day-to-day site activities and execution, and oversee all company employees, site contractors, and internal and external sub-contractors.
Reporting to the Project Manager and Site Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for complying with Australian standards, understanding the aspects of projects (time, cost, warranties) and contributing to technical solutions.

The Role

You will work collaboratively with the Project Team to deliver works which may include, but not be limited to: bulk earthworks; drainage and underground service installation; road works and building/car park pads.

Working closely with our onsite Engineers you will be able to:

  • Read and interpret construction plans
  • Able to work with crews from 4 - 20
  • Understand project safety requirements, and ensure they are applied on-site through the use of Prestarts and Toolbox Meetings, Site Safety Walks/Inspections, and effective monitoring of plant and equipment use.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is conducted to program and to necessary quality standards.
  • Organise and supervise the use of materials, plant and equipment.
  • Review specifications and designs to assist in planning and scheduling works on-site and report potential risks with construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and community management plans.
To be successful in this role, you MUST have
  • 3+ years Supervisory experience
  • Able to operate plant if required
  • Have a hands-on and positive approach
  • Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality and environmental compliance on site
  • Strong communication and the capability to mentor and lead a team
  • Work within our existing QA system, which incorporates safety, environmental, and quality procedure
