Our Power Generation and Storage Solutions team is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer who specialises in Wind Engineering to continue to drive and expand our services offering for wind energy development projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will be further enhancing our already impressive technical and consulting capability in Wind and Solar Energy generation with particular emphasis on site identification and modelling, owners side engineering support, due diligence related to green field projects, or asset upgrade plans and project management to ensure on time and budget delivery.

This role can be based at any Jacobs location throughout Australia and New Zealand. If you are seeking an exciting a new challenge, we’ll provide you the means and tools to work on a wide variety of interesting projects to grow your career.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

A Bachelors Degree in Engineering – Renewable Energy, Electrical or Mechanical
Professional experience in the field of wind and solar energy assessments; prefeasibility studies, Due Diligence, Owner’s engineering roles
Experience in leading and managing due diligence projects
Exposure to Owner’s Engineering duties involving design review and site inspections
Expertise in wind farm assets, condition, forecast operational expenditure and assets management plans
An ability to represent Jacobs at key thought leadership events
An ability to mentor and facilitate the technical development of more junior engineers and the wider team
We would expect you to have great communication skills and a history of consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations in project delivery
