Our Perth Transport business are seeking a Principal Transport Engineer to provide consultancy services in the Transport Planning market in the ANZ region. This position will be responsible for project delivery and project management, and for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. You will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects. The role will support management of the Transport Planning team, in terms of team development and growth,building technical capability and growing the transport planning portfolio.

Here’s What You’ll Need

You will be a technical and project lead for transport planning and assessment projects, as well as providing technical guidance for transport planning advice on large strategic consulting and design.
Furthermore you should possess
Extensive knowledge and breadth of traffic and transport engineering/planning concepts and tasks
Vast knowledge of traffic operations and capacity analysis
Solid understanding of safe systems solutions and its application
Extensive understanding of technical standards for design, construction and maintenance
Extensive working knowledge of the local environment, relevant industry, particularly working within the Western Australian Transport Sector
Strong negotiation skills with respect to technical matters
